Simply Divine Cafe sits just off Egmont Road in Egmont Village, offering a relaxed spot where locals and travelers can pause for quality coffee and hearty homemade fare. This cafe draws a steady flow of both early risers grabbing their morning brew and afternoon visitors lingering over dessert or a casual meal. Its interior balances comfort with a modest, unfussy vibe, while outdoor seating invites customers to enjoy the surrounding greenery when the weather is kind.

The atmosphere here feels approachable and unpretentious, marked by friendly service that makes you feel like a regular even on your first visit. It’s the kind of place where people stop in for a laid-back brunch or settle in with a good book over a cup of mocha or their standout hot chocolate. The menu bridges classic cafe staples with a few more substantial options—you’ll find everything from comforting seafood chowder and mushrooms on toast to burgers and salads that carry through into the evening hours, when mains like the lamb rump and prime ribeye steak come into play.

Simply Divine’s crowd is a mix of local workers and families, alongside visitors making their way through Egmont Village. The cafe's portion sizes lean generous, reflecting a straightforward, no-fuss approach to satisfying appetites mid-day or early evening. Coffee gets genuine praise, noted for being well-crafted rather than overly specialist or trendy, making it a dependable stop for caffeine fixes. The presence of cabinet items and sweet treats like carrot cake and strawberry chocolate cheesecake adds to its appeal for those who want a lighter snack or dessert with their drink.

Best times to visit tend to be during brunch and the late afternoon when the sunlight softens the café’s natural setting. Its roadside location is convenient for travelers exploring the region or locals looking for a reliable and friendly spot to gather without the hustle of busier town centers.

In essence, Simply Divine Cafe suits anyone looking for a straightforward, welcoming place to enjoy well-portioned meals and honest coffee in a quietly pleasant environment—particularly those who appreciate a casual atmosphere and a menu that comfortably stretches from breakfast through dinner options.

Great menu options and decent coffee! Had the seafood chowder which was yum, and husband had mushrooms on toast that was amazing. Would definitely recommend!! Cabinet items available as well. Good feel inside, and outdoor seating also available.

Great little place. Seafood chowder was Devine. Would of like 2 bits of the sourdough bread for $23. Lovely all the same. All Day half breakfast was a good portion size, though my partners comment was over salted. Hot chocolate was Amazing and the chess cake was delicious Liked the Tip jar humor

We shared a very pleasant afternoon together at this lovely roadside cafe. I ordered the open steak & mushroom sandwich, that was served with a very generous portion of food and it was very much enjoyed. The coffee was also made to absolutely perfection!! Very satisfied with our experience here :)

We had a really tasty late lunch here as a group of four. My meal was delicious, great portion size and nicely presented. LOVED the hash brown ball and the veg crisps on top! My husband enjoyed his burger but his only feedback would be the quality of the meat patty, he would have liked a thicker, meatier patty. Great service and cute interior. Really wanted to try the beautiful sweet cabinet treats in particular the doughnuts but will have to come again for them!!

Into NP this morning and we decided we'd have breakfast at Simply Devine at Egmont Village on the way. One of those places you see, but usually drive past. Well that won't be happening again lol - the drive past bit - because those breakfasts were spectacular. So was the fireplace lol where I parked my butt as close as I could get to it. While it's a glorious day, the wind coming off that mountain had more bite than a pack of wolves.
